Consumers can complain by calling '333' number if the price of goods is high in the market. This service will be launched before January 31 ahead of the holy Ramadan. State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak informed this.
He was speaking at the consultation meeting on 'Ensuring more transparency in the market and bringing about innovative changes through digitization' at the Secretariat on Monday (January 15) afternoon.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given instructions to keep the price of goods bearable on the occasion of Ramadan. For this, market monitoring will be ensured through technology, the state minister said.
Mobile apps and zoning system will provide accurate information. Production, storage, marketing, marketing and import data will be provided on separate websites, Palak added.
He said, you can call the number '333', to inform about the high price in the market. Any citizen can call. It will be easy to take action if someone takes more than the price rate set by the government.
Shop owner association and business leaders were present in the meeting.
