There will be no gas supply in various areas of the capital on Thursday (October 31) due to urgent replacement of gas pipelines. During this, gas supply will be suspended for four hours in Kamrangirchar and six hours in a part of Uttara.
Titas Gas authorities gave this information in two separate notifications on Wednesday (October 30).
The notification said that gas supply to all classes of existing customers in the Kamrangirchar area will be suspended from 2 pm to 6 pm. During that time, low gas pressure may prevail in the surrounding areas.
On the other hand, gas supply to all classes of existing customers in the eastern side of Dhaka-Mymensingh Road, including Sector 8 of Uttara, up to the banks of the Tongi River on the northern side and its surrounding areas will be suspended from 2 pm to 8 pm. During that time, low gas pressure may prevail in the surrounding areas.
In the notification, Titas Gas authorities sincerely apologized for the temporary inconvenience caused to the customers.
