BRAC Bank has launched a service to provide protection to the cardholders in situations like loss, fraud or theft.
The bank introduced the card protection plans in association with CPP, a global organization providing the service worldwide.
Three types of protection plans - Value, Classic and Premium – have been offered for BRAC Bank Credit Card under the comprehensive service.
The subscribers of the plans also be provided assistance for emergencies like hotel payment while traveling abroad.
To get the service or assistance, the subscriber has to call CPP's 24-hour helpline and report the problem.
These plans include complimentary fraud protection coverage up to BDT 200,000, mobile wallet protection against fraud for up to BDT 100,000 and overseas emergency assistance for payment of hotel expenses up to BDT 200,000.
At the launching ceremony, the Bank’s Head of Products (Cards) Joarder Tanvir Faisal, said “Our customers can now travel and use their cards with a peace of mind, anytime and anywhere in the world knowing that their card is safe and secured.”
