Le Méridien Dhaka has won the 'World Travel Award 2019' in the category of ‘Bangladesh’s Leading Hotel’ and ‘Bangladesh’s Leading Hotel Suite’ in Vietnam. They are the only hotel from Bangladesh to bring home two awards won in two different categories.
World Travel Awards celebrated its 26th anniversary in 2019. Its annual program is renowned as the most prestigious and comprehensive in the global industry. Each year World Travel Awards covers the globe with its Grand Tour – a series of regional gala ceremonies to recognize excellence with each continent, culminating in a Grand Final at the end of the year. The gala ceremonies are regarded as milestone events in the industry calendar, attended by the industry’s key decision-makers and figureheads, as well as a key trade and consumer media.
It has been four years since Le Méridien Dhaka opened in Bangladesh. In these four years, the hotel has become synonymous with VVIP accommodation and successfully hosted many foreign dignitaries. From public areas to private spaces, including 304 guest rooms and suites, spacious banquet facilities, top-rated restaurants, state of the art fitness center, and many more.
