United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) signed an MOU with University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) at the premises of UCB Corporate Office on 8 January 2020. Under this agreement, UCB will collect student tuition fees of UITS and will act as their main collecting Bank.
Mr. Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Additional Managing Director, UCB and Professor Dr. Mohammed Solaiman, Vice Chancellor, UITS signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Among others Professor Dr. Mohammed Mazharul Hoque, Dean, School of Science & Engineering, UITS, Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, Dean, School of Business of UITS, Dr. Arifatul Kibria, Dean School of Liberal Arts and Social Science of UITS, Mr. Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, Registrar of UITS, Mr. Md. Sekander-E-Azam, EVP & Head of Transaction Banking of UCB and Mr. Taufiq Hassan, EVP & Head of Retail Business Division of UCB were also present along with other senior officials from both the organizations.
