Controversial singer Mainul Ahsan Nobel was sued in a digital security act over a defamatory post at social media facebook.
Popular lyricist, composer and music director Ithun Babu filed the case with the court of Asshamchha Zaglul Hossain of Bangladesh Cyber Tribunal on Wednesday (June 2).
The tribunal will deliver its order in the case after taking the plaintiff's statement.
According to the case statement, singer Nobel has given a facebook status where he termed Ithun Babu as a thief of song which defamed the renowned music director.
