The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Monday filed a charge sheet against actress Pori Moni and two others in a case filed under the Narcotics Control Act.
The two other accused were identified as Ashraful Islam Dipu and Kabir Chowdhury.
CID Inspector Kazi Mostafa Kamal, who is the investigating officer (IO) in the drugs case filed against Pori Moni, submitted the charge sheet at a Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate court.
On September 28, a court asked police to return 16 items including a car, iPhone and laptop to Pori Moni, which were earlier seized from the actress.
The investigating officer (IO) on September 26 filed a report, proposing to return the goods, saying it won't hamper the probe.
On August 31, Dhaka Metropolitan Session Judge KM Emrul Kayes granted Pori Moni bail, in the case and she was finally released from jail the next day.
On August 4, members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained Pori Moni from her Banani flat in Dhaka and seized huge amounts of foreign liquors and different drugs.
