‘I failed to compromise though held several meetings’- Shabnoor

Shabnoor was finally found after contacting the Australian phone number. Shabnoor told barta24.com that since the birth of our child in 2013, differences of opinion and distances became widened between us. Which at one point exceeded the limit. Earlier, on in the mid night of March 3 news broke that Shabnoor (Sharmin Nahid Nupur), a popular film actress of Dhaka cinema had divorced her husband Anik Mahmood on January 26 bringing allegations of drug addiction, physical and mental torture and addiction to other women.

At that time the divorce notice and affidavit drafting Advocate Kawsar Ahmed informed the media that Shabnoor had divorced Anik on January 26 this year. The notice was sent to Uttara and Gazipur houses on February 4. As a result, their divorce will be effective legally after 90 days.

In that divorce notice, Shabnoor said that my husband Anik Mahmood Hridoy does not take proper care of mine bear our expenses.  He is a drug addict. Mostly he comes at midnight and tortures me physically and mentally. She has been away from me since the birth of our son and is living separately with another woman.

Shabnoor was married to Anik Mahmood on December 27, 2012. Next their son was born on December 29 of 2013.
