New Delhi has been directly blaming China for tensions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh for the past four months. Foreign Minister S Jayashankar said the problem would be resolved through diplomacy. Meanwhile, during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Russia, the Chinese defense minister wanted to hold a separate meeting with defense minister Rajnath Singh, official sources said. According to official sources, the meeting is likely to take place only on Friday (September 4).

Blaming China for tensions on the Ladakh border, the Indian foreign ministry said government and military officials from the two countries had agreed in talks that the border issue needed to be resolved. Anurag Srivastava, a South block spokesman for the country, said, "But after reviewing the situation over the last four months, it is clear that China is responsible for the deteriorating situation on the Ladakh border." China is unilaterally trying to destabilize the border. As a result, the peace and stability that has prevailed on the border over the past three decades has been disrupted.

He added that India believes that all outstanding issues can be resolved through peaceful negotiations.

Meanwhile, India's Chief of Defense Staff Bipin Rawat has also blamed China for the situation on the Ladakh border. "Specific arrangements were made with China in 1993 to manage the border," Rawat said at the India-US summit. Nevertheless, occasional aggression on the border has been noticed on the part of China. India is capable of resisting all forms of aggression.

Two days ago, the Pentagon reported to the US Congress that China was planning to build bases and military infrastructure in countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Kenya, Tanzania and Angola to put pressure on India. Now, Rawat made it clear that India is not far behind in putting pressure on Beijing. He said that the four axis formed by the United States, Japan, Australia and India for free movement and trade in India and the Pacific are going to play an effective role in the region in the days to come.

According to Indian intelligence reports, Pakistan wants to destabilize Jammu and Kashmir again by taking advantage of tensions on the Ladakh border. "Adequate security measures have been taken at the LoC," Rawat said. Even then, if Pakistan dares to take any malicious action, they will have to face huge losses.
