At the top of the list is the possible corona vaccine made by Oxford in terms of availability, easy preservation process and low cost availability. Many low-income countries, including South Asia, are looking at the company.

However, various questions are being raised about the effectiveness of this vaccine. A preliminary report from a recent clinical trial found that the vaccine was 70 percent effective. Trials are underway in two processes. One group was given one and a half doses, the other group was given two doses. Oxford-made Chadox-1 gave good results to those who were given low doses. It has 90 percent effectiveness. But for those who were given more, that is, 2 doses, only 62 percent worked.

Pascal Soroit, CEO of the Swedish vaccine maker AstraZeneca, said the effectiveness of the vaccine needed to be ascertained. So another test is needed. As we know, the effectiveness of this vaccine is high. So maybe a smaller number of patients will be needed. And this international test will take less time.

Experts said the issue will be investigated. So far, one and a half doses of the vaccine have been administered to young volunteers. All of them are in their fifties. But the second method was also used on the elderly. So the question is, is the Oxford vaccine working less on the elderly? However, the company said that the method that has given more work will be followed.

Meanwhile, the head of the US vaccine program has claimed that the process of one and a half doses was done by mistake. The amount of drugs in the vaccine was low. That is what Oxford is calling 'one and a half dose'. If the results vary, there is a risk that the US Food and Drug Administration will not allow the vaccine to be released.
