Due to the crisis in the supply chain, the company has not been able to deliver vaccines as planned.
A spokesman for the company told the Wall Street Journal that the supply of raw materials for vaccines had taken longer than expected. More importantly, the preliminary results of the clinical trial took longer.
On Thursday (December 3), the United Kingdom was the first country in the world to approve the coronavirus vaccine invented by Pfizer and BioNtech. The UK government has said that the first dose of the vaccine will be administered in the country from next week. Meanwhile, the US Food and Drug Administration will hold a meeting on December 10 to approve Pfizer's vaccine.
