The power struggle between China and the United States and the issue of economic competition is an 'open secret'. However, the chemistry of Sino-US and Indian relations in South Asia and internationally is quite different. Experts believe that the United States is trying to suppress Beijing in order to reduce the dominance of China in the world, while Washington's relations with Delhi means India are getting stronger.

India has emerged as a more important partner for the United States than any other country in the world for highly trained technologists and improved political and cultural ties, according to a recent research report by the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), a leading US think-tank.

In a recent report, ITIF discusses the US relationship with India and China in the global economy. There is an analysis of how good or bad America can be for relations with these two countries.

"Relations with China in the aftermath of the conflict on the Ladakh border are slowly improving," the ITIF said, noting that trade between the two neighbors would increase. ITIF also thinks that the main direction of the world economy will be shifted to the eastern part of the world.

In a changing situation, the United States alone cannot do much, it needs an ally. Therefore, ITIF believes that the United States and India are likely to come very close in terms of financial, military and international relations.

However, the ITIF has warned the ruling Biden administration in the United States about India's over-reliance on the IT sector. They say the United States could suffer in the future if there is a disagreement between the two countries over issues such as intellectual property rights, information surveillance, taxes, tariffs and privacy. However, the dependence of the United States on China in manufacturing and India in information technology is crucial.

David Mosela, a professor at ITIF and co-author of the report, said: "The power or lobby that is widening the gap between the US and China is bringing the US and India closer together. There is evidence that India continues to be an important ally of the United States in the global economy.
