Neil Armstrong died on August 25, 2012. Their partner Michael Collins passed away today. Aldrin, 91, is now the only surviving member of the mission.
In a statement, Collins' family said Mike has always faced life's challenges with humility and has similarly accepted the last challenge of his life. We will miss him very much.
