Two persons were killed and one critically injured in separate road accidents in Natunbazar and Jatrabari areas on Friday and early Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Al Amin( 22) and Ziaur Rahman (43), a salesman of Amin Jwellers at Baitul Mokarram Market and hailed from Alfadanga upazila of Faridpur district.
Al Amin and his injured friend Rakib went to Natunbazar, adjacent to Gulshan-2 by motorcycle around 12:00 am and became victims of an accident by losing control over the motorcycle.
They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Al Amin succumbed to his injuries.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp in-charge Bacchu Mia confirmed the matter saying the body was kept at hospital morgue and the concerned police station was informed of the matter.
Meanwhile, salesman Ziaur Rahman was hit by a recklessly driven private car while he was passing the Kazla area in Jatrabari by rickshaw at 8:30 on Friday.
Deceased brother Imran Hossain said Ziaur was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital immediately after the accident where he died under treatment.
