After a long two-hour meeting, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised US President Joe Biden.
Putin told a news conference after the meeting in Geneva on Wednesday (June 16) that US President Joe Biden was an experienced statesman. He (Joe Biden) is totally different than Donald Trump.
Putin said Washington's concerns about Russia were unfounded.
Vladimir Putin said they had agreed to return the expelled ambassadors to both embassies. However, the Russian president confirmed that President Joe Biden had not invited Putin to the White House. Putin said he also did not invite Joe Biden to the Kremlin.
"The discussions between us have been very fruitful," he said. He does not think that there is any animosity between them.
