Sir David Amis, an MP from the ruling Conservative Party in the United Kingdom, has been stabbed to death, according to British media reports. Police have arrested a man on suspicion of involvement in the incident.
Sir David Amis MP was attacked at a meeting in his constituency in Essex on Friday (October 15).
The BBC reports that David Amis was attacked at a church in Leh-on-Sea, Essex, at 12:05 pm local time.
A knife was recovered from the scene, Sussex police said. No one else is being suspected in this incident.
