Dhaka: Russia is ready to send a delegation to Belarus to discuss ways to resolve the current crisis.

On Friday (February 25), Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed the matter.

But before that, Ukraine must declare a "neutral position," he said. He said that neutral position would include "demilitarization".

Dmitry's remarks suggest that Russia will take part in talks with Ukraine, excluding Ukraine's accession to NATO.

The West has repeatedly rejected Moscow's demand for Ukraine to join NATO. Putin claims that Europe does not want to negotiate with Russia over keeping Ukraine out of NATO; for this reason, Russia has been persuaded to launch a military operation in the country.

Meanwhile, in a video message today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Russia to end the war.

"Russia will have to sit down with us sooner or later to discuss how to end the hostilities and end the war," he said. The sooner the talks begin, the less Russia will suffer.

"Until the attacks stop, we will continue to fight to defend our country," he said.
