46 members of the US Congress have written a letter to US President Joe Biden demanding the release of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. They also expressed concern about the human rights situation in Pakistan.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held a rally this month after the US elections. The rally demanded Imran Khan's release from that rally. The party leaders also said that the movement will continue until the demand is met.

Last week, former Pakistani Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan called for a final movement from prison. His lawyer said that Imran has called on party leaders and activists to march towards the capital Islamabad on November 24.

Imran Khan issued a statement from prison on Sunday regarding the protest program.

He said that the future of PTI will be decided on that day. It will be decided who will remain in the party and who will not. Referring to November 24 as the day of decision-making, he urged supporters to join in making the program a success. The statement also said that there will be protests not only in Islamabad but across the country.

Meanwhile, 46 members of the US Congress have written a letter to US President Joe Biden demanding the release of Imran Khan. The letter expresses concern about the ongoing human rights violations and erosion of democratic values in Pakistan and urges the Biden government to take immediate action.

Congress members have even alleged widespread fraud and irregularities in the February elections in Pakistan.
