The issue of Jammu and Kashmir is absolutely the internal matters of India while the comments of Pakistan is simply exaggeration of facts and baseless. In the Human Rights Council of UN, the secretary of Indian foreign ministry (East) Bijoy Shing Thakur claimed that the complaints raised by Pakistan on Kashmir are totally baseless.
On Tuesday (Sept.10) in the 42nd session of the Human Rights Council of UN in Geneva Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mehmud Qureshi complained that in Kashmir India has violated the human rights.
After the speech of Pakistani foreign minister Indian foreign secretary Bijoy Shing Thakur delivered her speech.
She said that the scrapping of Article 370 of Indian constitution to remove the disparity in Jammu and Kashmir is the decision of Indian parliament. Now the world is very much conscious. This cooked up story has come from the very center of global terrorism. The ring leaders of the global terrorists are given shelters for years together in Pakistan. This country as a part of their diplomacy conducts terrorism in the bordering zone.
To the contrary, the Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the International community cannot seat idle about the continuous tragedy in broad day light in the occupied Kashmir.
Qureshi further said that we have come to the Human Rights Council. We have come to world conscience on human rights. We pray for justice and dignity of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The Pakistani foreign minister asked the Council to take measures so that India must stop the use of guns, must stop blood shedding, lift curfew restoring discipline and communication and release the political prisoners.
He called upon the Human Rights Council of UN to adopt resolution to take steps to try the offenders of human rights in Kashmir according to International law.
