US Defense Headquarter Pentagon said Iran's General Qassim Soleimani was killed by President Donald Trump's orders.
International media reported on Friday (January 3).
Earlier, one of Iran's top generals, Qassim Soleimani, was killed in a US airstrike in Baghdad.
General Qassim Soleimani was the chief of Iran's elite force Kuds. Besides General Qassim, five more were killed in the attack, including Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahudi al-Muhandis.
