US President Donald Trump has commented that Iran's General Qassim Soleimani was planning to attack USA.
Trump spoke to reporters at a news conference in Florida on Friday (Jan. 3).
At the press conference, Trump said Qassim had been killed to stop the war, not to start war.
Trump termed Qassim a "terrorist" and said Qassim was responsible for killing thousands of military and civilian Americans. His mental sickness has taken the lives of thousands of innocent people from Delhi to London.
Trump told the US people that it was a matter of relief for ending Qassim's reign of terror.
Trump also said I was ready to take all kinds of steps, if needed.
Earlier, Iraqi General Qassim Soleimani was killed in a US airstrike in Baghdad, Iraq. Shortly after the assassination, the US Defense Department headquarters said in a statement from the Pentagon that Iran's General Qassim Soleimani had been assassinated at the behest of US President Donald Trump.
