There was a rocket attack again near the US Embassy in Baghdad, a day after Iranian missile attack on a US air base in Iraq.
Iraqi police sources told Reuters that three Katyusha rocket attacks occurred in Baghdad's "green zone" on Wednesday (Jan. 8).
Sources say one rocket fell at least 100 meters away from the US embassy in Baghdad's highly protected green zone. The siren was playing inside the green zone at that time.
However, nothing was immediately known about the casualties.
So far no one has admitted responsibility for the attack.
