US President Donald Trump has cancelled a meeting with leaders of the industrialized nation's G- 7 due to the global pandemic coronavirus.
The White House said Thursday (March 19) night (local time) that he would be attending a video conference instead of meeting to meet. The meeting was supposed to be held at Camp David next June.
The decision came from the White House when countries around the world were closing their borders to prevent coronavirus infection.
Earlier this week, Donald Trump had a video conference with leaders from industrialized countries around the world, and plans to re-convene in April, May and June.
White House spokesman Jude Deer told Reuters the meeting would be held via teleconference.
