Deadly coronavirus death toll exceeds 21000 across the world. 4 lakh 68 thousand 577 people were infected.
According to data from the World Ometer, the survey review agency, until Friday(March 26) morning, the number of deaths worldwide was 21185. After receiving treatment among the infected 113867 people have recovered.
According to the organization’s website, the global pandemic of coronavirus has infected 198 countries and regions of the world so far.
The coronavirus spread from Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei province, at the end of December, 2019. Originally, more than 81,000 people were infected in China, but the outbreak has decreased. However, the prevalence of the virus is increasing in other countries around the world.
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared an epidemic worldwide on March 11.
According to the World Ometer website, China has the highest number of victims so far. There were a total of 81218 infected with the virus. 3281 people died.
Italy, however, has surpassed China in death figure. The death toll in the country is 7,503. And 74386 people were infected.
Spain is second on the list behind China as dead. The total number of infected people in the country is 49515. Of these, 3647 people died. Iran has the highest number of deaths after Spain. In Iran 27 thousand 17 people were infected. Of these, 2077 people died. In the United States, 65,797 people were infected. Of those, 935 people died. In neighboring India, the number of people affected is 657. Of those, 12 people died. In Pakistan 1063 people were infected. Eight of them died.
