The European Union (EU) has pledged 1 billion euro to develop a vaccine for coronavirus and to find out treatment procedure.
European Union President Arsula von der Lane made the announcement at a news conference on Monday (May 4).
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, meanwhile, called for cheap medical treatment to be made available to all.
But according to the World Health Organization, this is a big challenge.
It is to be mentioned that so far 36 lakh 17 thousand 494 people have been infected with coronavirus in the world. 11 lakh 78 thousand 57 people have recovered. The total number of dead is 2 lakh 50 thousand 412 people.
