The new virus, which has been seen in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December last year, mainly causes major infections in the lungs. Fever, cough, and respiratory problems are the main symptoms. Analysis of the genetic code of the new virus has shown that it is very similar to the SARS virus. So far no curative drug has been found for this virus.
