Researchers said the vaccine developed by Oxford University is able to fight against corona and is safe. At the end of the initial trial of the vaccine, the vaccine has developed immunity in the body of the vaccine trial participants.

The vaccine was able to produce antibodies and white blood cells in the bodies of 1077 people who took part in the initial trial, international media reported on Monday (July 20) which will help to fight against coronavirus.

The vaccine is currently in the final stages of trial. Vaccines have begun to be given to large-scale volunteers in South Africa and Brazil. The vaccine will be administered to tens of thousands of volunteers in the final stages. Once approved at the end of the third trial, the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca will start mass production.

AstraZeneca has already signed a contract with Oxford to produce the vaccine on a large scale without any profit. AstraZeneca aims to produce a total of 2 billion doses of the vaccine, including 400 million for the United States and the United Kingdom and 1 billion for low- and middle-income countries.

AstraZeneca CEO Pascal Sariot said there are plans to start distributing the vaccine in the United States and the United Kingdom by September or October. We also plan to deliver the vaccine everywhere in early 2021.

AstraZeneca will distribute 400 million shots by 2020. It has entered into an agreement with the Serum Institute of India to supply 1 billion doses to low- and middle-income countries.

The vaccine, developed in Oxford, is called ENCOV-19 (ChAdOx1 nCoV-19). The vaccine is in trial. Whether the vaccine is effective will be known soon. The UK government will approve it as soon as possible if it proves effective.

Sarah Gilbert, a Professor of vaccine logy at Oxford University, is leading the team. "We are 70 percent confident of success," she said. Based on the tests, we can say that we have successfully developed the coronavirus vaccine.
