‘Certainly the life of this world is not free from misery. And that is why Allah has instructed patience. The Qur’an, Kareem has said, ‘And of course I will test you with some fear, hunger, loss of life and property and destruction of fruits. But give glad tidings to the patient. When they are in distress, they say, "We are all for Allah, and to Him we will return." They are the ones to whom Allah has infinite grace and mercy, and they are the ones who are guided. '- Surah Al-Baqara: 155-156

Shaiykh Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al Mania made the remarks during a Hajj khutba delivered from the Namira Mosque on Arafat ground in Saudi Arabia on Thursday (July 30, 9 Zilhaj).

The Hajj khutba began at 12 noon local time. In his 30-minute khutba, Shaiykh Mania, a member of the country's Supreme Ulema Council, delivered the keynote address on contemporary issues, including relief from the global pandemic Covid-19, forgiveness of sins, and Allah’s mercy.

In his Hajj khutba, Khatib Mania said that Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam. Hajj is a very important and virtuous act of worship. Hajj has been made obligatory for every financially and physically able Muslim at least once in his life. If one's Hajj is accepted, Allah has declared Jannah as a reward for him.

At the beginning of the sermon, he recited the praises of Allah and the Prophet (PBUH) and said, O Muslim community! I advise you to fear Allah. Through this he will remove all the dangers. To fear Allah means to surrender to Allah in happiness-sorrow, peace-unrest. Ask him out well if he is no longer absorbed in the connection. Not asking for any creation on earth. This is the claim of Kalima, the demand of faith.

In the Qur'an, Allah said, "Worship Allah and do not associate anyone with Him."

He said, "To Allah, to the angels He has created, to the heavenly books, to all the prophets and messengers to come, to the Day of Resurrection, and to all that is good and evil;" It is from Allah, this word must be firmly believed in the heart.

Khatib said, "Allah has given us a fulfilling life." In his historic Farewell Hajj speech, the Prophet (PBUH) recited verses from the Qur'an, "Today I have perfected your religion for you, and I have perfected My blessings upon you, and I have chosen for you Islam."

Shaiykh Mania said, Allahu ta'ala has said in another place of the Holy Qur'an, O believers! Seek help through patience and prayer. Surely Allah is with the patient.

O people! the world is not free from suffering. Danger will come step by step in life. Then we will not be disappointed. You have to be patience and seek help from Allah.

Allah wants to test our faith through various tests. We have to be patience and pass that test. He said, "I will test you with fear, hunger and narrowness of life and property." The good news is for the patient.

O people! Allah's mercy and grace are very wide. He wants to make everything easy for us. In the Holy Qur'an, there is ease with every difficulty. Even if some temporary misery comes in our life, in return Allah will give us a good reward.

He said that it is necessary for us to obey the provisions of God in every aspect of life. You have to earn what is halal. And what is haraam must be abandoned. In the Holy Qur'an, Allah has made buying and selling lawful and usury unlawful. So interest-bribery cannot be eaten.

Allah has forbidden anyone to enjoy wealth unjustly. Destiny is destined for us. You have to be kind to people. Facades cannot be created in the world. We have to maintain brotherhood and friendship with each other. We have to ensure the rights of all men and women. This is the rule of Islam.

Allah said in the Holy Qur'an, God is instructing you to worship Him and to be kind to your parents. If you find one or both of them in old age, do not say oops in front of them (annoyed with their behavior) and do not threaten them. Rather, speak politely to them.

O people! Allah has commanded you justice and fairness. Islam has laid down rules for mankind through which the rights and security of all classes of people can be ensured. Allah said (interpretation of the meaning): Hold fast to the rope of Allah, do not discriminate.

In the Farewell Hajj speech, the Prophet Karim (PUBH) said, be careful; Surely Allah has forbidden you blood and possessions. For example, this day is forbidden for you in this city, this month for you.

O people! The Prophet (PBUH) of Allah be upon him said, 'Flee when you see a leper, and flee when you see a tiger.' Likewise, if there is an epidemic in any of your areas, do not leave it or enter it.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Saudi government has decided to hold a limited Hajj this year. May Allah grant good exchange to Khademul Haramain Sharifain King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and his son Mohammad bin Salman.

O servants of God! Today is the day of Arafat, the day of accepting prayers. We will pray for ourselves, for everyone else, and for deliverance from the epidemic. Allah said in the Qur'an, your Lord said, pray to Me. I will answer your prayers.

O Allah! You eradicate the epidemic that we have, heal the sick and empower those involved in the treatment of the sick, and give us the tawfiq to diagnose the right disease and help us to innovate the necessary treatment.

O Allah! Fill them with Your blessings and bless them with Your grace. O Allah! Create love and brotherhood in their hearts. Make them partners in the fear of Allah and in good deeds; Do not transgress. O Allah! Grant us security and stability by Your grace and mercy.
