They will speak everything to the journalists about the murder of slain ex- Major Sinha Md. Rashed Khan in Teknaf. But before that, Shipra Debnath and Shahedul Islam Sifat sought some time for themselves.

They were speaking to journalists in Cox's Bazaar on Monday (August 10) night.

At first Shipra Debnath said, please, pray for us. Sifat and I are very grateful to you. You were by our side; hope, you will be by our side in coming days. That's all for now. We will speak about everything. We will speak every truth. Give us a little time. There are lots of rumors across the country. We do not want misleading news.

At the same time, Shahedul Islam Sifat told reporters, I am mentally and physically completely healthy. I was not shot in the leg. Hopefully there will be a fair investigation. Give us a little time.

On July 3, Shipra Debnath, Shahedul Islam Sifat and Tahsin Ifat Noor, three students from the Film and Media Department of Stamford University, Dhaka visited Cox's Bazaar. The three students were working on a documentary titled 'Just Go' filmed and produced by Major (retd.) Sinha Md. Rashed Khan. Tahsin was released earlier by the police. Sifat, an eyewitness to the murder was in jail but bailed out on Monday. Shipra Debnath had also been in jail for nine days. Police arrested Shipra on August 1 and sought for a five-day remand.
