Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has taken OC Pradeep Das, SI Liaquat and Nandalal Rakshit to remand in Major (Rtd) Sinha Md. Rashed Khan murder case for seven days. They were taken to remand just 12 days after the Cox's Bazaar court granted remand.
The RAB remanded the three of them at 11:30 am on Tuesday (August 18).
Earlier on Monday (August 17), 12 days after the court's order, OC Pradeep, SI Liaquat and Nandadulal Rakshit were taken to remand for interrogation, said RAB media director Ashiq Billah.
On August 5, Sinha's elder sister filed a murder case against nine police men including the suspended Teknaf Police Station OC Pradeep Kumar Das, Baharchhara Police Outpost Inspector in-charge Liakat Ali and SI Nandalal Rakshit.
