Rab arrests APBN in Sinha murder case

RAB has arrested three members of APBN in the Retired Major Sinha Rashed murder case on Tuesday(August 18) morning. The court placed them for 7 days for interrogation when they were produced in the court.

Cox's Bazar Senior Judicial Magistrate Tamanna Farah passed the order around 12 noon on Tuesday (August 18).

On Monday (August 17), they were called to the RAB office for interrogation. They were later arrested on Tuesday morning in a case filed in connection with Sinha's murder. After sending them to the court, RAB wanted their remand for 10 days.

The three APBN members were on duty at the check post on the night of the incident. They are Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Shahjahan, Constable Rajib and Abdullah.

Earlier, seven people arrested in the murder case were Sub-Inspector (SI) Liton, Constables Safanur Karim, Kamal Hossain and Abdullah Al Mamun and three witnesses in the Sinha murder case were Nurul Amin, Nizam Uddin and Mohammad Iyas of Marishbunia in Baharchhara, Teknaf.
