The Anti- Corruption Commission (ACC) is interrogating Sudhanshu Shekhar Bhadra, director general of the postal department, on allegations of irregularities and corruption in the procurement of the project, money laundering to India and illegal acquisition of wealth beyond known sources of income.
On Tuesday (September 1) from 11 am at the ACC head office in Segunbagicha Deputy Director of ACC Salauddin was interrogating him, the public relations department said.
Sudhanshu Shekhar Bhadra was supposed to supply 6,500 laptops and other equipment to entrepreneurs across the country, but in most cases he did not deliver them through bill vouchers. He is being questioned on the basis of allegations.
There are also allegations that he did not keep wealth in his own name but in the name of his relatives
