The price of onion has already gone up in our market as well as in India, he said. Therefore, a record amount of onions will be imported this year. If necessary, the duty on onion import will be reduced by 5 percent.
A three-member delegation led by the Hungarian Foreign Minister met Tipu Munshi at the Commerce Minister's own office in the Secretariat on Thursday. He said this at the end of the meeting.
