Twenty six people died from deadly virus corona while 1812 people were detected with the virus in the last 24 hours across the country.
This information was divulged to media on Monday (September 14) by DGHS through press release.
According to press releast, the latest deaths and cases of infection have brought the tolls to 4759 and 339332 respectively.
The release said that during the time 14216 samples were tested making the total test of 1742696 samples. 2512 people have recovered bringing the recovery figure to 243155 so far.
It may be mentioned here first cast of corona infection was detected in Bangladesh on last March 8 while first death occurred on March 18.
