Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majudar said safe food management carries the identity of a developed state. Therefore, the government is working relentlessly to build balanced, safe and strong food management. Also new plans are being taken up. If the plans are implemented, Bangladesh's food management will become a role model in the world in the future.
Food Minister valiant freedom fighters Sadhan Chandra Majumdar said this while attending various development programs in Porsha Upazilla of Naogaon on Saturday (September 19).
The Minister further said that the country is moving forward fast with the foresight of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the worthy daughter of the Father of the Nation. The standard of living of the backward people in the society is being improved through government cooperation. Noting that there will be no homeless families in the country in the coming days, the food minister said work is underway to rehabilitate the homeless families. Work will be started on a larger scale anew. Sadhan Chandra Majumder called for building a drug free society to build a meritorious nation.
The function was organized at Porsha Upazilla Parishad Hall. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nazmul Hamid Reza, Upazila Chairman Shah Manzur Morshed Chowdhury, Vice Chairman Kazibul Islam, Awami League General Secretary Mofazzal Hossain and Officer-in-Charge of the Police Station Shafiul Azam Khan spoke on the occasion.
The minister visited his constituency Porsha in Naogaon and attended a meeting on local law and order and Upazilla development coordination. He also attended the distribution of newly listed disability allowance cards, distribution of wheelchairs among children with disabilities, distribution of medical aid checks and release of fish fry.
In the afternoon, he exchanged views with the leaders and workers of Porsha Upazila Awami League and allied organizations. In it, the minister gave directions on the ongoing development of the country, global pandemic corona virus and increase in the organizational activities of the party.
