40 more people died from deadly virus corona while 1705 more were detected with the virus in the last 24 hours across the country.
This information was divulged to the media on Monday (September 21) by DGHS through a press release.
According to a press release, the latest deaths and cases of infection have brought the toll to 4979 and 350621 respectively.
The release said that during the the time 13053 samples were tested at 94 laboratories across the country making the total test of 1833823 samples. 2152 people have recovered bringing the recovery figure to 258717 so far.
It may be mentioned here that the first case of corona infection was detected in Bangladesh on last March 8 while the first death occurred on March 18.
