Happy birthday to Sheikh Hasina- celebrated daughter of Bangabandhu

Dhaka: Today is Monday, September 28, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's 74th birthday. Sheikh Hasina, the eldest daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib, was born on this day in 1947 in Tungipara, Gopalganj.

Sheikh Hasina entered national politics in the early eighties. When the Awami League won a majority of seats in the 1996 elections and formed the government, Sheikh Hasina became the Prime Minister for the first time. Then when the Awami League won the parliamentary elections on December 29, 2008, she became the Prime Minister for the second time. Since then, the daughter of Bangabandhu has established her name as a successful Prime Minister in the world court by implementing successful programs one after another.

Even during the pandemic corona, she continues to show success by taking necessary steps. Bangladesh deserves success in tackling the future prophecies of all the world's ‘pundits’. Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina can rightly claim the full credit for this. Her timely package plan has given hope to helpless people. Unemployed people have got the hope of survival.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has lost all her family members including her parents and is moving forward for materializing the dream of the Father of the Nation. The dreamer of digital Bangladesh was born on this day.

The Bangladesh Awami League will celebrate the 74th birthday of Awami League President and Prime Minister and the successful head of the government Sheikh Hasina, the worthy daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the beacon of world humanity.

As part of the central program, a discussion meeting will be held at the central office at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue on Monday, September 28 at 3 pm organized by the Awami League.

 

Awami League Presidium member and Deputy Leader of Parliament Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury will preside over the discussion. Besides, prayers and milad mahfil will be held in all mosques of the country including National Mosque Baitul Mukarram on September 28.

Apart from this, special prayers will be held on Monday at 9 am at International Buddhist Monastery in Timerul Badda, at 10 am at Christian Association Bangladesh AB Mirpur Baptist Church, at 6 am at Jakmala Rani Church in Tejgaon and at 11 am at Dhakershari Temple.

 

Central leaders of Bangladesh Awami League will be present in these programs. On the same day, all the affiliated organizations of the country including Dhaka will hold discussion meetings and mahfils with special prayers and photo exhibitions. However, in the Corona situation, all programs have been called to comply with the issue of public health protection.

Obaidul Quader, General Secretary of Awami League, addressed the leaders and workers of all the affiliated organizations of Awami League on the occasion of Bangabandhu's daughter's birthday. All the leaders of the socio-cultural organizations have been asked to observe the day accordingly.
