New Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswamy has said that India is working as a corona vaccine producer.
"We are working as a corona vaccine manufacturer," he said. We are working to ensure that we work with Bangladesh on vaccines. Vaccine trials are starting soon in India. If the Bangladesh government gives permission, a trial will be held here as well. '
He made the remarks in response to various questions during his first meeting with media personnel at Gulshan Indian House on Thursday (October 8).
He added, ‘Corona virus is an unexpected disease. Its extent is still unknown. The World Health Organization said the vaccine is coming soon. We are working as a vaccine manufacturer. We hope that we will be able to develop the vaccine on the basis of Bangladesh-India partnership and set the price together. '
The High Commissioner, who is committed to reducing border killings, said, "Monitoring will be intensified to stop border killings." The highest priority will be given to reducing the use of lethal weapons at the border.
He added, "We will work with Bangladesh on all the existing issues." First of all, we will work to further strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.
