33rd span of Padma Bridge installed

In the space of 8 days after the 32nd Span was installed, the 33rd span was installed on the 3rd and 4th pillar at the Mawa end of the Padma bridge. The bridge is 4950 meters or 4.95 km. is visible. On Monday (October 19) the 33rd span was installed.

A total of 41 spans will be set for the Padma Bridge.

After the new span was set, there will be eight more left.

The remaining eight spans are fully ready at the Mawa Construction Yard, site engineers Dewan Abdur Quader said.
