The Directorate of Primary Education has issued a notification for the appointment of assistant teachers in government primary schools of the country. About 35,000 teachers are to be recruited through this notification.
This information was given in a notification issued by the Directorate of Primary Education on Monday (October 19).
According to the notification, the vacant post of 'Assistant Teacher' in government primary schools will be filled and the post of 'Assistant Teacher' created in the revenue sector for pre-primary classes under PDEP-4 in nationalized government primary schools will be temporarily recruited in 13th grade of National Salary Scale, 2015. However, candidates from three hill districts - Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban - will not be able to apply.
The age of the candidates is minimum 21 years on October 20 and maximum 30 years on March 25. In the case of children of the freedom fighters and the physically challenged, March 25 will be 32 years.
Educational Qualification: Must be a Bachelor's or Honors or equivalent degree with a second class or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university.
It has been mentioned in the notification that the appointment will be made as per the ‘Government Primary School Teacher Recruitment Rules, 2019’.
