After ten months the deadly coronavirus has become aggressive again. The outbreak of this new global pandemic, which surfaced in Wuhan, China in December 2019, was somewhat stagnant. Experts fear a second surge in the coming winter. The severity of the virus is also increasing in some areas. Everyone has the same question, 'How long will the deadly coronavirus last?'

The global epidemics of the past namely plague, flu, influenza or Ebola lasted two to three years. Epidemiologists said that the science of health was not so advanced at that time. As a result, the epidemics were prolonged.

But scientific research has advanced a lot in the twenty-first century. Many sophisticated technologies are in the hands of people. However, it is not possible to handle the aggression of the deadly coronavirus. But it is not halting and has been give death bites again and again.

Despite so much technology-driven development, researchers have no clear answer as to when the vaccine will arrive. According to the latest report of the World Health Organization, human trials of 42 possible antidote candidates are going on all over the world. 10 of them are in the final stage. Pfizer and Moderna, two US manufacturers have claimed that if all go well, they could give good news in November. There are rumors in Britain that Oxford may also give good news at Christmas.

Analyzing the overall situation, the United Nations has said that by the end of 2021, they will have stockpiled one hundred crore syringes for the vaccine so that there is no shortage of syringes for injection when the vaccine is ready.

Contrary to expectations, there is also a picture of despair. A study from the University of Oxford in the UK on vaccine trial found that even after being discharged from the hospital, more than half of patients suffer from shortness of breath, fatigue, and depression. Month after month the pain, inflammation is going away. The head of the research team, Betty Ryman of the Radcliffe Department of Medicine in Oxford, said: That is what this study has shown. Again, the experimental application of the vaccine is also found to be confusing and frustrating information.

Meanwhile, corona-infection has crossed the four crore mark in the world. More than half of the affected countries are the United States, India and Brazil. According to international watchdogs, 25 lakh people have been infected in the last seven days. The worst week so far has been the last week of October.

Experts advised not to get panicked, saying, 'One of the reasons behind the rapid increase in the number of infected people is the increase in corona-testing so more victims are being detected. ‘The danger, however, is that there are many corona-infected people who have no symptoms. Many are moving with infections. Although man survives in his own resistance, do not let him down in a weak and fragile moment.

Another concern is new infections and re-infections of those once infected. As a result, it has been suggested to continue personal and social health rules against corona. Festivals, ceremonies and rallies have been restricted in Europe to prevent transmission at the community level. Public worship has been restricted to Durga Puja, one of the major festivals of the Hindu community in South Asia.

All this is being done considering the presence of the virus worldwide, which makes it clear that the virus has not gone away or is not going away easily. The question immediately arises, then how long the coronavirus will stay? One answer may be that the sooner the vaccine arrives, the sooner the coronavirus will leave.

Experts also said about another hope. That is, the virus can be controlled by increasing human adaptation to health regulations. Past plagues, flu, influenza, etc. have been alleviated, but the diseases have not been eradicated forever. Vaccines and human adaptations have yet to be defeated.

The existence of coronavirus is not expected to disappear like a sudden jugglery. Rather, it may be possible to defeat and subdue the corona through the application of vaccines and human awareness. Then the virus will no longer be active in the form of an pandemic. Maybe ten more common viruses will remain as non-toxic as bacteria.

In the actual proposition, however, the masterly dominance of science and the conscious effort of men will determine whether to stay in the coronavirus, to appease and to say goodbye.
