Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the youth of the country not to get involved in drugs, militancy, terrorism and corruption in the lure of cash. She said that no one should be involved in any such work. These may pay instant cash. But in fact there is no guarantee of real life here. And we will maintain a very strict position against drugs, terrorism, militancy and corruption; it must be kept in mind.

She said this while participating in the inaugural function of Bangabandhu National Youth Day-2020 on Sunday (November 1) morning. The Prime Minister addressed a virtual discussion meeting held at Osmani Memorial Auditorium from Ganobhaban.

The Prime Minister said the whole world has come to a standstill today due to coronavirus. We have taken some steps immediately. At the same time, we have called for increasing our food production. There too we thank our youth society. When there was a problem with the cutting of paddy, when I called, everyone from our Chhatra League, Juba League, Swechchhasebak League, Krishak League jumped in. Any work has dignity. Eating the things that save our lives and working in the fields of that crop does not disgrace anyone. On the contrary, by standing by the side of the farmers in this work, I think the respect of our students and youth towards the nation has increased a lot, internationally as well.

That's the way to stand by people. Claiming that there is no shame in doing one's own thing, Sheikh Hasina said, "I would like to say another thing there - there must be accountability everywhere and love for the country." We want the people of the country to have a sense of responsibility and to carry on with this sense of responsibility in the days to come.

Highlighting the government's importance towards technical education, the Prime Minister said, "Knowing technical education gives an opportunity to work at home and abroad." There will also be a call to my youth. Because we know that many times after selling land and deposits in the clutches of brokers, they go abroad with lakhs of money to catch golden deer. Then it is seen that there is no job, no job. You have to give your life patiently.

She said, what is the condition of parents and siblings? But it is not necessary. We have registration arrangements all over Bangladesh in each of our digital centers for sending abroad. Where is the right job, salary through employment bank and expatriate welfare bank? There is now an opportunity to get information about whether they will be paid or not. In other words, in the age of information technology, the world today is a global village, a small place. All the news is available from there. Of course, it is better to go abroad to catch this golden deer, it is better to know everything if you want to go.

Besides, I am also arranging employment in my own country. The Prime Minister advised the youth to become self-reliant on their own initiative with the initiative to make 100 economic zones in the whole of Bangladesh.

"Our goal is to take the country forward," she said. But that's right, we see a problem now. Even the practice of sports culture; Bangladesh was far behind, but Bangladesh did not lag behind. In all cases, Bangladesh was moving forward. But the coronavirus seems to have paralyzed everything. The saddest thing is that our students are not able to go to school, college or university. This situation has arisen not only in our country, but globally.

Regarding the Corona situation, Sheikh Hasina said, "Now you know that there is an outbreak of Coronavirus." Many countries, starting in England, have already announced lockdowns. But we all have to be safe. Everyone will use a mask for any work. I may be giving a speech without a mask; you wonder why I am without a mask? But there are not many people around me.

Calling for adherence to hygiene rules, the Prime Minister said masks should not be worn all the time. But when mixing with someone, going to a public meeting or market, you must use a mask to protect yourself and others. The way we protect people from coronavirus should have continuity because it is everyone's responsibility.

The Prime Minister highlighted the need to open up the private sector for the employment of the youth.

He added that the incentive package that we have given to deal with this situation of coronavirus, so that the pace of our economy continues. So the time has come again, from now on to check those who will come to our country from outside, to keep them in quarantine, it is necessary to take the same measures as before from now on in every port starting from our airport. As soon as someone enters, it is necessary to check whether they are carrying coronavirus because the safety of the people of my country must be ensured first of all.
