The full central committee of Awami League's associate organization Awami Juba League(AJL) has been announced. After announcing the chairman and general secretary of Juba League through the council, the full committee was approved this time.
Earlier, on 23 November 2019, the president and general secretary of the central committee of AJL were announced with Central Committee Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil.
Awami Juba League presidium members named are Mamunur Rashid, Munjur Alam Shaheen, Abu Ahmed Nasim Pavel, Sheikh Sohail Uddin, Dr. Khaled Shawkat Ali, Sheikh Fazle Fahim, Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury Nixon MP.
Controversial leaders of the previous committee of Juba League have been left out of the new committee. Besides, more than 60 people have been left out as they are over 55 years of age.
Biswas Matiur Rahman Badsha, Subrata Pal, Md. Badiul Alam, Sheikh Fazle Naeem and Md. Rafiqul Alam Joarddar became joint secretary. This time many former BCL members have got a place in Juba League. Among them is former BCL president Saifur Rahman Sohag. He has become the organizing secretary. Besides, Ashiqur Rahman (Shanto), younger brother of Andalib Rahman Partha, president of Jatiya Party (BJP) of Bangladesh, has become an executive member.
