Dhaka: The defeated forces of ‘71 are spreading confusion in the minds of devout Muslims with false, fabricated statements. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that their aim is to create unrest in the society.

She said that a part of the defeated forces of 1971 has recently taken to the field to confuse ordinary devout Muslims with false, fabricated and fabricated statements. They want to create unrest in the society. The Father of the Nation said in 1972 not to use religion as a tool of politics. But the allies of the defeated forces are dreaming of taking the country back to the state it was 50 years ago. They are showing the audacity to show its eyebrows to the government with political help.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this while addressing the nation on the occasion of the 49th great Victory Day on Tuesday (December 15) evening.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has warned that the people of Bangladesh are religious, not fanatical. Don't use religion as a tool of politics. Everyone has the right to practice their religion. Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony. Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians - this country has become independent in exchange for the blood of people of all religions and castes. We will not allow any kind of division in the name of religion in this country.

"Come on the eve of Victory Day, so we don't swear again - let's not forget the blood debt of millions of martyrs," she said. Let us not allow the communal spirit of the war of liberation to be plundered. ‘Don’t let the red-green flag given to them be disrespected. As a worthy successor, take an oath to uphold the victory of your forefathers on this day of victory. Promise: Inspired by the spirit of the war of liberation, this country will turn into a golden Bangladesh. Only then the souls of 30 lakh martyrs will get peace. The dream of the father of the nation will be fulfilled. '

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said while the Father of the Nation was busy rebuilding the war-torn country and working tirelessly day and night for the betterment of the people of the country, the accomplices of the defeated forces killed him and his family on August 15, 1975. By killing Bangabandhu, only one person was killed but attempt was made to question the rise of Bangladesh by killing him. The assassination of Bangabandhu put an end to the irresistible cultural, social and economic progress of the Bengali nation. By killing him, an ideal and a dream was killed. The dream that was associated with the fate of millions of ordinary working people in this country.

Sheikh Hasina said the Father of the Nation was not only a pure Muslim, he also observed religious rites with devotion. Who else like him could understand the mind-thinking-aspirations of the people of Bengal! So when he drafted the constitution, he reflected the hopes and aspirations of the people and adopted Bengali nationalism, secularism, democracy and socialism as the four basic principles of running the state.

He said what the Father of the Nation wanted to protect religious values which was never been done by masked governments in the name of Islam. Activities such as banning alcohol, gambling and horse racing by law, establishing Islamic Foundation, setting up madrasa boards, and achieving OIC membership were carried out by Bangabandhu in just three and a half years of independence. So these were not mean achievements of Bangabandhu government.
