Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that all efforts are being made to bring a vaccine on an emergent basis against the coronavirus. She said that by the infinite mercy of Almighty Allah, the infection and death rate in Bangladesh is still very low. We are trying our best to control this pandemic. Hopefully, vaccination of Covid-19 has started in different countries. In Bangladesh too, we are trying our best to bring vaccin quickly.

Highlighting who will get priority as soon as the vaccine arrives, the Prime Minister said, "Immediately after the vaccine arrives, doctors, health workers, law enforcement personnel and other combatants will be given priority."

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the corona front liner heroes, including doctors, health workers, law enforcement, armed forces and members of the field administration, for their courage in tackling this epidemic.

After the spread of coronavirus, people of various classes and professions including leaders and activists of Bangladesh Awami League, Chhatra League and allied organizations have come forward to help the poor and helpless people. I sincerely thank everyone. I pray for the forgiveness and peace of the souls of those who have died.
