Fifteen more people died from deadly virus corona while 619 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours across the country.
This information was divulged to the media on Friday (January 22) by DGHS through a press release.
According to the press release, the latest deaths and cases of infection have brought the toll to 7981 and 530890 respectively.
The release said that during the time 14846 samples were tested at 191 laboratories across the country making the total test of 3529374 samples. 487people have recovered bringing the recovery figure to 475561 so far.
It may be mentioned here that the first case of corona infection was detected in Bangladesh on last March 8 while the first death occurred on March 18.
