Twenty two more people died from deadly virus corona while 436 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours across the country.
This information was divulged to the media on Saturday (January 23) by DGHS through a press release.
According to the press release, the latest deaths and cases of infection have brought the toll to 8003 and 531326 respectively.
The release said that during the time 11115 samples were tested at 191 laboratories across the country making the total test of 3541389 samples. 338 people have recovered bringing the recovery figure to 475899 so far.
It may be mentioned here that the first case of corona infection was detected in Bangladesh on last March 8 while the first death occurred on March 18.
