Managing Director of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited, Nazmul Hasan Papon said vaccines imported from India's Seram Institute would not be available outside. "There is no chance of getting this vaccine outside," he said.

Papon said, ‘Employees of pharmaceutical companies are most affected by corona, because their work has never stopped. Drugs are being sold in every shop in the country. Our representatives have to go to the hospital and the chamber of the physicians. But unfortunately none of the private pharmaceuticals companies are on the official list of those who will get the vaccine. That is why we have brought 10 lakh doses of vaccine for them. We wanted that quantity through the Pharmaceutical Industry Association. '
"There is no chance of getting this vaccine outside," he added. Now if the government asks us to give to private hospitals-clinics then we will try to bring for them. But now after giving what is coming to the pharmaceuticals company, if there is anything, then we can give it to one or two companies. And since all the employees of the pharmaceutical companies and their family members will get the vaccine, 10 lakh doses is much less. '
Incidentally, on November 5, the Ministry of Health, the Serum Institute of India and Beximco Pharmaceuticals signed an agreement on the corona vaccine. Under the terms of the agreement with the Serum Institute of India, Bangladesh will receive 30 million vaccines in phases.
