The month of February marks the beginning of a new day bathing in the light of a new sun. In the wake of the global pandemic of coronavirus, the language month has awakened a touch of hope in everyone because Bangladesh has entered the vaccine era as one of the first countries in the world. Soon, all-out resistance to the pandemic will be achieved through vaccination at all levels.

February is a month full of memories of the great sacrifice of Bengalis for the establishment of mother tongue Bengali. February 21, 1952 is a glorious day not only in the history of Bangladesh but also in the history of the world. Immortal Ekushey is therefore the name of an inexhaustible inspiration in the path of awakening and struggle for the rights of Bengalis.

On this day in 1952 (8th Falgun, 1358), Rafiq, Jabbar, Shafiul, Salam, Barkat and many others were martyred in the firing of Pakistani police on the students protesting for the state language Bengali. .

Bengalis gained cultural rights in the spirit of Ekushey language movement. Socio-economic and political rights were achieved in the course of Ekushey and the final victory of the Bengali nation was achieved through the attainment of independence on the way to the victory of the great war of liberation.

Ekushey's spirit immersed in the great language movement has given strength to every democratic movement of Bengalis. Inspired by Ekushey, Bengalis have repeatedly won in struggle, struggle, movement and protest-resistance. Ekushey has  taught not to bow their heads to anybody.

Ekushey is the beacon in the national history and political path of Bengalis, it is the eternal lighthouse of spirit. One year later, the language movement will touch the historic milestone of 70 years. At the same time, Bengalis will celebrate the golden jubilee of independence in development and progress.

In this pandemic feared February 2021, the enlightened Bengali nation will once again be revived with a united oath against disease, decay, poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, injustice and darkness. The heroic Bengalis of invincible Bengal will sing the music of victory in a united voice.
