The report, titled "All the Prime Minister's Man", recently aired on Qatar-based Al Jazeera, was described by the Inter-Services Press Relations (ISPR) as "motivated" and work of vested groups. They strongly condemned the report as erroneous and baseless.

This was stated in a press release signed by ISPR Assistant Director Rashedul Alam Khan on Tuesday (January 2).

It is said that in fact a vested group is trying to destabilize the country in recent times. The report's commentators are David Bergman, a convicted felon at the International Criminal Tribunal; former cadet Zulkarnain Sayer Khan (referred to as Sami in the report)expelled from BMA on drug addiction charges and Tasnim Khalil, editor-in-chief of the infamous Netra News. Their past actions prove that all these infamous individuals have come together to carry out evil intentions.

According to the press release, the army headquarters in Bangladesh is protesting against the purchase of internet and mobile monitoring equipment from Israel. In fact, signal equipment purchased from a Hungarian company for use in UN peacekeeping missions has been termed as purpose-driven mobile monitoring technology imported from Israel. Neither the equipment purchased nor any of the related documents mention that they were made in Israel. It should be noted here that since Israel does not have diplomatic relations with Bangladesh, there is no room for purchase of defense equipment or defense cooperation from that country. The Bangladesh Army considers this false and fabricated report as an attempt to obstruct the country's prosperity and progress by creating divisions and distances between the various institutions of the state. Under the current chain of command, this disciplined force has always been loyal to the country's constitution and government. The Bangladesh Army is committed to the development and service of the motherland with unwavering respect for the government of the country.

Al Jazeera aired the report on Monday (February 1). The foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday morning that the report was "politically motivated, baseless and fabricated".
